We provide the necessary legal framework through a data processing agreement (DPA) under Art. 28 GDPR and take into account the specific confidentiality obligations for service providers to the legal profession.

No. We follow a strict zero-training policy. Your documents and any insights derived from them are never used to train or improve general AI models. Your data remains yours and is used only for your specific processing job.

We apply the principle of data minimisation. Immediately after text extraction is complete and the download is available, all uploaded original files and the generated results are permanently deleted from our servers (zero-retention policy).

Conventional OCR programmes often rely on a single engine that is error-prone with complex legal character sequences. LexLogik uses a three-stage validation: two independently trained OCR systems capture the text in parallel. In the final stage, an AI trained by us performs a logic check to verify reference chains, amounts and legal syntax for plausibility.

The Lens is our tool for full transparency. With one click on any word in the digital text, a magnifier opens showing the exact excerpt from the original scan or photo. This allows error-free verification of doubtful spots in seconds, without having to search through the original document manually.

Our preprocessing algorithms are specialised in straightening and optimising skewed, underexposed or pixelated client phone photos. The three-stage validation process ensures the highest recognition rate for business-critical data such as IBANs or legal references even with difficult source material.

LexLogik delivers either high-precision PDFs with a searchable text layer or fully editable Word documents (.docx). In the Word export, spots that require manual review by the back office are discreetly marked to ensure an error-free workflow.

Because LexLogik delivers standard formats such as PDF and Word, results can be imported seamlessly into any e-file system (e.g. RA-MICRO, DATEV, vdp). For larger firms we also offer a dedicated API in the Enterprise package for direct system integration.

The Counsel package is for specialised sole practitioners and boutiques looking for an independent high-end solution. The Professional package offers higher volume and collaboration features for partnerships and teams. For custom requirements with your own server instance, our Enterprise model is available.

After the two weeks end, trial access stops automatically. You can then decide at your leisure whether you want to use LexLogik on an ongoing basis.
